Annual Summer Barbecue 2019
Sunday 11th August 2019, Jubilee Allotments Association annual barbecue.
A much brighter day than anticipated, the volunteers worked hard to get everything set up for the day.
Ticket sales were greater than previous years with a large number of people turning up on the day and paying on the gate it was a fabulous turn-out. The food just about held out, it is difficult to predict quantities without pre-purchase so we went with the 'when it's gone, it's gone' attitude.
Thank you to all the hard work and coordination of the committee who volunteered their time to make this event a success. Thank you to all who generously donated cakes and salads and also thank you to all who came along and supported the day.
The event raised around £200 for the Jubilee Allotment Association coffers.
